The following is an excerpt from a private phone session that Cynthia Schwartzberg had with Pat Rodegast on February 16, 2005.   During the session, Cynthia had time to ask some questions about the Pathwork.  With Pat's permission, Cynthia generously provided the following transcript because she felt it would be helpful to many of us at this time.

 

CS – So, can I ask the Guide if there is something that you want to share and offer to us as we move into a new era? Many people are feeling a calling of a new era of the Pathwork.  It is time we go into the next phase and the next era. 

Guide: “Leadership.” 

Pat – Wow, that is the next phase.  And I swear the Guide is shaking his head. 

Guide: “And it is not blatant leadership.  It is wisdom and kindness and self-celebration and self-love.  That is the leadership of the coming ages on your planet.” 

Pat – Wow.

Guide:  “No more war please angels.” 

CS – I am wondering in your teachings the first phase was about clearing the emotional stuff and the second phase about really strengthening our relationship to God.  But it seems there are few who can teach that phase and I am wondering if you could speak to that because it keeps slipping back into the psychological.  I find this in my groups in Atlanta, people want to do the spiritual work then chaos gets created because there is something of the lower self that hasn’t been dealt with. 

Pat – Well I just have to tell you what I am seeing.  I am seeing the Guide and Emmanuel and they are clasping their right hands together, “And that is what we have come together to remind, to instruct:  Fear has entered into every cell of every human body. How could it have not?  And in order to cleanse the vocabulary of fear, deep and profound work has had to be done.” 

Pat –  And the Guide is saying, “As you know.  And, then comes the enormously important question:  ‘Now that I am cleared of fear, who am I?  What have I come to say?  What do I want to do?  What is my truth?  What is my song?  What is my dance?’  And those are the questions that fear has forbidden the Pathwork to ask.” 

Pat – And I am saying “Why?” 

And Emmanuel is saying, “Because fear knows its time is short once the voice of truth is heeded, once it is known, once it is utilized.  Once your truth is spoken fear cannot exist.  Fear only exists by your willingness to give it life -- by believing it.  -- And the nooks and crannies of,  yes, the Lower Self, is where fear has been stored.  You know that.” 

Pat – Yeah. 

Guide:  “And, once there is an awareness, one doesn’t have to be critically sure every sentence comes from the Higher Self.  Fear exists in the world of illusion.  The difference being that you fail to believe it anymore.  That it holds a familiarity that alerts suspicion.”  

Pat – He is saying, “and then you take the time to examine that fear would say, ‘Therefore there can be no spontaneity and there can be no Leadership’.  No, allow the truth of you to be celebrated and know your intent which is to hold the hand of truth.”
