Dear

This is to invite you to join the Pathwork Helpers Association of North America (PHANA), sponsored by the Pathwork Foundation.

Your membership of PHANA will entitle you to be entered in PHANA’s Internet-accessible Register of Pathwork Helpers, providing you with the widest possible public recognition as an accredited Pathwork Helper – or Apprentice Helper, if you are an Apprentice.  Your Register entry can include a short text that you write.  You might use this text to provide information on, for example, your approach and practice. 91% of the respondents to the 1999-2000 US/Canadian Pathwork Helper/Counselor survey identified a professional register of this type as what they most wanted PHANA to provide.

Taking out membership in PHANA also helps to build a substantive association that increases the public visibility and credibility of Pathwork Helpership as a whole – a significant step towards building a wider, more integrated, and more significant realization of the Pathwork in both North America and the world.  It is envisaged that the creation of PHANA will be followed by the creation of other members of a family of Helpers Associations, each covering a significant area of the world, e.g. South America, Europe.

The enclosed PHANA Launch – In Brief sheet provides a brief overview of PHANA and tells you how to obtain more information.

We invite you to be part of this voluntary, inclusive, and expansive initiative.  Please complete the enclosed Membership Application Form and return it to the Foundation Office at the address above.  Please do this by May 1st, if possible.

In Service,

Roddy Duchesne

On behalf of PHANA Council:

Canada: Roddy Duchesne (Coordinator);  Georgia: Cynthia Schwartzberg;  Mid-Atlantic: Kathy Fleisher; Minnesota: Dottie Titus;  New York: Judith Saly;  Vermont: Sahra Aschenbach.  Council has been and continues to be significantly assisted by Lorraine Marino (Philadelphia), providing liaison with the “The 50/50 Workฉ”, and Jan Rigsby (Australia and California), Councilor at large.
