Pathwork® Helper Training

The table below shows currently recognized Pathwork Helper training programs in the US and Canada.  An alternate name for "Helper Training Program" (HTP) is "Helpership Development Program" (HDP).

Pathwork Transformation/Pathwork Studies programs (PTP/PS) are personal and spiritual development programs rather than training programs.  The reason that they are included in the table below is that successful completion of a certain number of years of these programs is a pre-requisite for entry into Helper training.

Helper Training/Helpership Development  Programs involve individual and group work that is both substantial and intensive.  Successful completion of one of these programs is a pre-requisite for commencing practice as a Pathwork Helper.  Most programs run for 4 years, with 8-10 meetings per year, followed by a period of supervised apprenticeship.

Pathwork Transformation Programs (called Pathwork Studies in the New York Region) involve considerable individual and group work.  While most programs run for 4 years, participants choose at the end of each year whether they will commit to taking the following year.  The number of group meetings in a year ranges from 4 meetings of 4 days each to 20 weekend meetings, depending upon the program.  PTP/PS programs greatly further the personal and spiritual development of those that take them.  Completion of a certain minimum number of years of one of these programs is a pre-requisite for entry into Helpership training.  The average minimum number of years is 3.
